Team Evergreen Racing Weekly News - Thursday February 22nd, 2007

• Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

• Email Ted right now so we can have team color race bikes on the course this summer!  Ridley is made in Belgium, they are giving us a great deal, and will paint our bikes in team colors at no additional cost, Ridley sells more high end bikes than Eddie Eddy Merckx!  Get your sized and configured this week.  

• Training Ride - TER Ride Saturday February 24th is Tentative.

  The weather forecast for Saturday is not encouraging; it includes precipitation and high winds. But it's a one-day weather cell according to the NWS and those are less than 100% predictable. Please see the www.TeamEvergreenRacing.com training ride forum Friday afternoon for confirmation of ride status.

• TER Membership ID Cards - You should have yours, if not, send an email to Cal.

• Sponsor pro-deal email - will occasionally be sent separately from this weekly team blast email as the details of the pro-deal is private - for racers eyes only.  (This weekly email is posted to our public website.)

• 2nd Crank Brothers - order will be submitted on March 1st. Please contact Cal for an order form and payment information.

• Maxxis - is offering TER members pro deals on tires and accessories. Please contact Cal regarding pricing and payment procedures. www.maxxis.com.

• Koobi Saddles -  www.koobi.com is offer Pro Deals. If you are interested in obtaining a Koobi Saddle then contact Cal for an order form and payment information.

• Fox Shocks - deal ends March 15th.

• Cyclo-Core - is our Title sponsor this season and has offered ALL TER racers access to their Cyclo-Core and Cyclo-Zen training packages at NO COST. Since the Number 1 response from the TER Racer Poll was for some type of structured training, this is one way to get started on the season, NOW.  As these packages are worth $125 each, you must email Ted with your request and commitment to viewing the DVDs and arrange to pick them up or have mailed. Please go to: www.cyclo-core.com/EVERGREEN and listen to the message from Graeme Street for an overview of why TER has teamed up with Cyclo-Core and the benefits it has to offer everyone. It is important that we get feedback from each racer as well. This URL will remain active for only a short period of time so please listen to it as soon as possible.

• La Ruta De Los Conquistadores - Registration for La Ruta De Los Conquistadores is filling up fast. If you are planning to do La Ruta then register soon and inform Ted Benning of your registration. 

• Volunteer Policy - click here

• Volunteer opportunity at TER Mtn Bike TT in May - We are going to need at least 13 Marshalls for the course, 6 for registration & other duties and 10 more for setup & takedown.  There will be need for volunteers on Saturday as well.  Contact Chris to get on volunteer list.
