Team Evergreen Racing Weekly News - Thursday April 19th, 2007

Team News      (email contact Ted Benning)

  • Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

Hill Climb / Training Rides       (email contact Robin Waterman)

  • Hill Climb / Training Ride - Saturday, April 21/Sunday, April 22nd.   (directions)

The Saturday ride is on. Meet the usual Morrison/Rooney Rd spot, ready to group up and discuss the route by 9am.
Also, be prepared for a longer ride-- 4 or 4.5 hours. (All routes will allow anyone to turn back early, however, if necessary.) Depending on weather and temps, we could ride up Golden Gate Canyon or up to Central City, or, if the majority prefer a lower route, we could take that.

  • Sunday April 22nd training ride option: - For any TER members who are interested we will meet at the Morrison/Rooney Rd. rally pt, ready to ride by 8:45am. We will then ride over to Deer Creek Canyon and meet up with the TE ride up to the top of High Grade Rd. From there, we could either ride with TE back to their start (Deer Creek Canyon Rd.) and then back to Morrison, or ride directly back to Morrison via Conifer and S. Turkey Creek.  If you are interested, please email Robin to let her know you plan to be there.

  • Mid-week interval training -  Next week this training will take place on Tuesday, April 24, to see if this is a better day for a larger number of interested in TER members. Meet at the Morrison rally pt ready to ride by 4:40, or meet at the Lookout Mt. Pillars by 5:20pm.

(NOTE: Some TER members have expressed that Wed. is better, while others say Tues. is better, so the next few weeks will be an experiment that will help establish the official mid-week training day for the rest of the season. Please email any thoughts to robin.waterman@gmail.com).

  • Action Item: HC Series Registration and Information - If you are interested in being a part of the HC Series training and racing, please download the attached form, fill it out and mail it to Robin by April 23. (Please do not email it to her. See the form for her mailing address.)  click here.

Please go to: www.cyclo-core.com/EVERGREEN and listen to the message from Graeme Street for an overview of why TER has teamed up with Cyclo-Core and the benefits it has to offer everyone. It is important that we get feedback from each racer as well. This URL will remain active for only a short period of time so please listen to it as soon as possible.
