Hill Climb / Training Ride
- Saturday, April 21/Sunday, April 22nd. (directions)
The Saturday
ride is on. Meet the usual Morrison/Rooney Rd spot, ready to
group up and discuss the route by 9am.
Also, be prepared for a longer ride-- 4 or 4.5 hours. (All
routes will allow anyone to turn back early, however, if
necessary.) Depending on weather and temps, we could ride up
Golden Gate Canyon or up to Central City, or, if the majority
prefer a lower route, we could take that.
-
Sunday April
22nd training ride option:
- For any TER members who are interested we will meet at
the Morrison/Rooney Rd. rally pt, ready to ride by 8:45am. We
will then ride over to Deer Creek Canyon and meet up with the TE
ride up to the top of High Grade Rd. From there, we could either
ride with TE back to their start (Deer Creek Canyon Rd.) and
then back to Morrison, or ride directly back to Morrison via
Conifer and S. Turkey Creek. If you are interested, please
email Robin to let her know you plan to be there.
-
Mid-week interval training
- Next week this training will take place on Tuesday,
April 24, to see if this is a better day for a larger number of
interested in TER members. Meet at the Morrison rally pt ready
to ride by 4:40, or meet at the Lookout Mt. Pillars by 5:20pm.
(NOTE: Some
TER members have expressed that Wed. is better, while others say
Tues. is better, so the next few weeks will be an experiment
that will help establish the official mid-week training day for
the rest of the season. Please email any thoughts to
robin.waterman@gmail.com).

Crankbrothers
- All orders are in - please make arrangements with Cal to pickup your products.
-
Cyclo-Core
- is our Title sponsor this season and has offered ALL TER
racers access to their Cyclo-Core and Cyclo-Zen training
packages at NO COST. Since the Number 1 response from the TER
Racer Poll was for some type of structured training, this is one
way to get started on the season, NOW. As these packages are
worth $125 each, you must
email Ted with your request and
commitment to viewing the DVDs and arrange to pick them up or
have mailed. Please go to:
www.cyclo-core.com/EVERGREEN
and listen to the message from Graeme Street for an overview of
why TER has teamed up with Cyclo-Core and the benefits it has to
offer everyone. It is important that we get feedback from each
racer as well.
This URL will remain active for only a short period of time so
please listen to it as soon as possible.
The Cyclo-Core
and Cyclo-Zen DVDs have arrived! They will be available to those
that have requested them as follows: - By contacting Cal Rickard
at 303-870-1450 or
calzone68@gmail.com if you live
west or by contacting Ted Benning at 720-565-5995 (wk) if you
live in the Boulder or the north front range area. If you want
them via mail, please send a check for $4 to: Ted Benning c/o

Chris to sign up. We are still needing many more
volunteers, we currently have about 17 volunteers and most
likely are going to need about 13 more. So please sign up as
soon as you can.
If you aren't going to volunteer please sign up for the race as
soon as you can.
In addition to the event itself we must repair the trails if
they are damaged. If this does occur we have 2 days to fix the
damage. The Monday and Tuesday after the event we have scheduled
