   Hill Climb / Training Rides       (email contact Robin Waterman)  
 
  • Hill Climb / Training Ride - Sat. Training ride:

    Sat. May 5 there will be no organized ride because it is the Lookout Mt Hill Climb, our first HC race of the year! Check the American Cycling Organization website for more details if you are interested in racing, and email Robin if you want to coordinate a warm-up or post-race cool down with other TER members. Right now we have TER members racing in SM Cat 4, 35+, 45+ and 55+ and SW 35+ and 45+.

    Other training option: For anyone who is not racing, you could meet by 9am at the Rooney/Morrison Rd rally pt and have a "show and go" ride, as Dean would call it.

    Wed. mid-week training - TT and interval training up Lookout Mt.

    Optional warm-up: Meet at Rooney/Morrison Rd by 4:45 pm if you want to ride over.

    Training ride: Start riding from the parking lot just below the pillars of Lookout Mt at 5:30, and finish by approx. 6:30.

  • Important:  these next two items

  • Cyclo-Core - is offering TER a Q&A Webinar with Graeme Street where racers can login/call in from their homes. Subjects should range from the CycloCore Zen and Core DVDs to other CycloCore programs and anything Graeme would like to discuss. IF you are interested in participating PLEASE email Ted or Cal.  Likely date is May 20th.

  • TER race kits are in - If you received an email from Cal, it means your kit is available for pickup. Pickup Dates & times Thursday (5/3): 3:00 - 6:00 PM at 1937 Bryce Court, Evergreen, 80439 Friday (5/4): 3:00 - 6:00 PM at 1937 Bryce Court, Evergreen, 80439.
    If you are making arrangements to pickup other racers clothing, keep in mind that only persons that received an email from Cal this week can pickup their race kits. Those racers that do not receive an email opted to have the race kit shipped or
    will be contacted by Ted for clothing pickup.

  • Ridley bicycle - pro deals available through Canyon Cycles.  Contact Cal for details.  If you ordered a Ridley - please make final payment at Canyon Cycles. Ridley reports that ALL of the TER Frames/Bikes except the Cheetah and the Supercross are ready to ship.

  • Cherry Creek TT - began April 11th.  Seven Wednesdays in a row.

  • Ted Benning is gauging interest in regular weekday and weekend training rides in Boulder area. Please contact Ted via email with your availability and interest.

    If you aren't a volunteer please sign up for the race as soon as you can.
    In addition to the event itself we must repair the trails if they are damaged. If this does occur we have 2 days to fix the damage. The Monday and Tuesday after the event we have scheduled this work. We need about 3 people per day.
