  • Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

 
   Mountain Bike Racing      (email contact Ted Benning) 
 
  • MSC TEAMS NEED TO BE FORMED BY MAY 11! -  Please email Ted ASAP at tedben@solusys.com if you plan on doing ANY of the Mountain States Cup races this year. Be SURE to include your NORBA number when replying to Ted. Teams MUST be submitted by this Friday, May 11.

  • Please start forming your racing commitments so we can begin forming teams for the Winter Park Series as well as Mountain States Cup. Please go to www.epicsingletrack.com for Winter Park and www.racemsc.com for MSC. When you enter, be SURE to identify "Team Evergreen Racing" as your team affiliation. Also, please email Ted  with your committed race schedules. You NEED a NORBA license if you plan to race MSC in Expert or Pro categories and/or IF you plan to participate in the series rankings.

  • Hill Climb / Training Ride -

    Training ride, Sat. May 19: High Grade route

    Rally at Morrison/Rooney Rd, ready to discuss the route by 9am. The ride will be the same as April 28.

    Warm-up: All will warm up by riding the bike path until it intersects with Ken Carl Rd. From there: Ride as hard as you want up Deer Creek Canyon then left at High Grade Rd up to the school house. Circle back to some of the other riders if you would rather not wait at the top. Good training for the Ironhorse! Option A: Continue on to Conifer, Turkey Creek, High Drive then down Bear Lake Canyon to Morrison. (Approx 55 miles total, 3.5 hours ride time and 5,000 ft of elevation gain). Option B: Do an out and back, going back to Morrison the way you came. Approx. 3 hrs.

    Wednesday mid-week training: Lookout Mt, (intervals or TT) Meet at the Pillars ready to ride by 5:30. (Optional, meet in Morrison ready to ride over by 4:45.)

  • TER race kits are in - If you received an email from Cal, it means your kit is available for pickup. Pickup today 8:00 - 6:00 PM at 1937 Bryce Court, Evergreen, 80439. Keep in mind that only persons that received an email from Cal this week can pickup their race kits. Those racers that do not receive an email opted to have the race kit shipped or will be contacted by Ted for clothing pickup.

  • Alison Dunlap Race Skills Clinic - We have 5 scholarship spots left for the Sat. June 2 Alison Dunlap Race Skills Clinic at White Ranch. Cost is $100 for TER Racers and you must get a check made out to TER to Ted Benning ASAP mailed to: Solution Systems Technologies, Inc., 2040 30th St., Suite C, Boulder, CO 80301. Hurry as spots are going fast!
