  • Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

  • TER Team Season Kickoff Party! - Saturday June 2, 5:30 PM at Dedisse Park in Evergreen Directions

    BRING YOUR JERSEY! We will take a team photo!
    We also will be distributing any unpicked up items/kits, DVDs, etc. We will also be soliciting commitments for Winter Park, etc.

  • Cyclo-Core - We need feedback on the programs and need to know how many people are interested in a webcast/podcast with Graeme Street. Please email your status/results to tedben@solusys.com.

  • Winter Park Mountain Bike Series - PLEASE email tedben@solusys.com with SPECIFIC races you plan to do this summer along with your age and class. NO NORBA or other racing licenses are required. TER is planning on a large presence this season and we need your presence!

  • Hill Climb / Training Ride -

    Training ride, Sat. May 19: High Grade route

    Rally at Morrison/Rooney Rd, ready to discuss the route by 9am. The ride will be the same as April 28.

    Warm-up: All will warm up by riding the bike path until it intersects with Ken Caryl Rd.

    Intensity & Endurance: Ride as hard as you want up Deer Creek Canyon then left at High Grade Rd up to the school house. Circle back to some of the other riders if you would rather not wait at the top. Good training for the Ironhorse!
    Option A: Continue on to Conifer, Turkey Creek, High Drive then down Bear Lake Canyon to Morrison. (Approx 55 miles total, 3.5 hours ride time and 5,000 ft of elevation gain).
    Option B: Do an out and back, going back to Morrison the way you came. Approx. 3 hrs.

    Wednesday mid-week training: Lookout Mt, (intervals or TT) Meet at the Pillars ready to ride by 5:30. (Optional, meet in Morrison ready to ride over by 4:45.)

  • TER race kits - are in If you do not have your kit, then make arrangements with Cal to pick it up!  

  • Fellow team member Kevin Glodava will be competing on Sunday May 20th in the World Championships for Dualthlon in Hungary. Kevin will be competing in the Male 30-34 AG category - Bib # 346. He will be racing for Team USA on the TER Ridley Excalibur. Check out the action live at http://www.triathlon.org by clicking on the section titled Győr Duathlon World Championships.

  • Cyclo-Core - is our Title sponsor this season and has offered ALL TER racers access to their Cyclo-Core and Cyclo-Zen training packages at NO COST. Since the Number 1 response from the TER Racer Poll was for some type of structured training, this is one way to get started on the season, NOW. As these packages are worth $125 each, you must email Ted with your request and commitment to viewing the DVDs and arrange to pick them up or have mailed.
