  • Winter Park series - racers get ready for the Winter Park Finale! The King of the Rockies race is Aug. 25. This race is similar in difficulty and length to the last race. Be sure to bring fuel with you; sports drink and/or gels. We need EVERYONE to show up and cross the line as TER is in a precarious position to win the series.!

Hill Climb / Training Rides       (email contact Robin Waterman)

  • Saturday training - Aug 18: Golden Gate Canyon-Wondervu loop. Meet in Golden at the Park and Ride at 10th and Washington, ready to ride at 8am. Route: Ride to the top of Golden Gate Canyon Rd. (right before the intersection with the Peak to Peak Hway). From there, roll along the Peak to Peak Hway, through Rollinsville, and wind along and up to Wondervu. Descend Coal Creek Canyon into the back side of Golden and return via Easly Rd. (Note: For a shorter ride, you could simply return by descending Golden Gate Canyon.)

  • Hill Climb / Wednesday Training Ride - Wednesday, August 22nd. Meet at the Lookout Mt Pillars at 5:30 for the early start and 6:00 for the later start. TT and interval training.  Michael Raber will be your ride leader.

NEW! Skills training! As a regular part of the Wednesday training rides we will begin to offer training on skills related to racing and descending, at the beginning of the ascent and the beginning of the descent. The training portion will be short, with the idea being that we can practice new skills during the training ride. Also, at the beginning of the ride we will also allow time for teammates to share any training tips that have been helpful.    Hope to see you at the pillars at 5:30p!
