Team Evergreen Racing Weekly News - Thursday October 11th, 2007

• Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

  MANY TER racers have NOT entered their results yet and this is MANDATORY if you want to participate in the Ride Incentive Program. This means bigger bike shop gift certificates for those that have already entered their results!

• QDOBA - The new Evergreen Qdoba is providing food for our October 21st year-end party at Buchannan Rec Center at 4PM. Families are invited! Please stop in the new Qdoba and thank them!

• Volunteer Requirement - Please Verify your efforts are in line with the list on our webpage.   If you have NOT volunteered yet for an activity there are a few near-term opportunities:

1. Help with TER party Oct. 21 - Tommyknocker beer pickup, setup/cleanup. 

2. We still need members to sign up to volunteer for Gcross on Nov 25th. If you haven't met your commitment for 2007, we will tack this on but you need to contact brockmei@comcast.net to get on the list. If you have met your commitment for 2007 and want to get a head start for 2008 it will go towards next years volunteer effort.

• Positions for the TER Board - We are currently seeking additional nominations for the TER Board for the 07/08 season. Board positions run from Oct. 1 thru Sept. 30 with overlap... • TER Season-End Party - TER party is Sunday, October 21 at 4PM at the Buchannen Rec Center in Evergreen.

• Team Clothing – If you have not received your Membership ID card or Team Kit, or if you are awaiting a replacement kit, please contact René. We still have TER clothing articles available for purchase.  Contact: René Pirolt.

• ACA Race Credit - Team Evergreen Racing will be working in conjunction with Green Mountain Sports Velo to Promote the G-Cross Races. The next cyclocross race will be held on Nov 25 at Robert Easton Regional Park in Littleton. TER needs to provide 10-12 volunteers for this race. Some will be needed on the day preceding the race for setup, some for marshalling the event at specified times, and some for cleanup duties after the event is over. Please visit the the volunteer forum area to sign up for the races. GMSV will provide lunch for marshals!

• Sponsor Feedback - If you took advantage of TER sponsor pro deals or received product from one of TER’s sponsors please provide me with feedback that can be relayed back to our sponsors. If possible include pictures. Deadline 10/1/07.

• Podium photos - are needed by our sponsors.  Send any podium shots you have wearing a TER jersey to Cynthia.

• La Ruta - If you are registered for La Ruta – please send me an email so I can get you in contact with our sponsor Dave Warner of Toad Hall Gallery and Restaurant in Costa Rica.

• Back to Wellness Chiropractic - has the following offerings for TER members: New Patients: Purchase their first visit $75 and get the second visit for free a $35 value. Existing patients within TER: Wellness Package is discounted from $360 to $300 for 12 visits. That means visits as low as $25.00, intended to be used within one year. • Cyclo-Core - is our Title sponsor this season and has offered ALL TER racers access to their Cyclo-Core and Cyclo-Zen training packages at NO COST. Since the Number 1 response from the TER Racer Poll was for some type of structured training, this is one way to get started on the season, NOW. As these packages are worth $125 each, you must email Ted with your request and commitment to viewing the DVDs and arrange to pick them up or have mailed.
