Team Evergreen Racing Weekly News - Thursday December 6th, 2007

Team News      (email contact Ted Benning)

  • Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

  • Tell us what you think - Take the annual TER member survey.  Click the image to the right or click here.  The new TER board wants to improve the team where needed and wants your feedback. Please take the five minutes to complete the survey, enter comments at the end if you have thoughts you would like to share.  Once results are achieved, the board will share them with the team along with a plan for improving the most important aspects to the riders. This is your opportunity to get what you want out of your team.  Please be frank and know that we truly want your input.  Out of 125 racers, only 15 surveys have been received.

  • 2008 TER Application - will be available late Friday on the website and here.  Deadlines for clothing is Dec 31, 2007 and for RIP qualification is Mar 31, 2007.  Any questions regarding the application please contact René Pirolt.

  • 2008 ACA Application - is available here.  There is a proposal to raise the annual license fee to $45 from $30. If you sign up by Dec 8th, you can sign up for last years rate of $30 and avoid the possible fee increase.

Off-season Training       (email contact Mike McKenna)

  • Winter Training - NEW START TIME 10:00 AM The past 2 weeks have been quite cold and only one other person has shown up for the Saturday training ride. We've had some feedback that a 10:00 start would allow temps to warm a bit more so no more excuses, let's get out and ride!
There is a possibility of snow the next few days and if the roads are snow packed, the ride will be cancelled. Otherwise, plan to meet across from the Conoco at C-470 and Morrison road for a 10:00 rollout. The ride covers 50 miles and takes approximately 3 hours ride time. The route is more or less an out and back so if you don't feel up to such a long ride, several turnaround points will be mentioned along the way.
Contact Mike McKenna (mikejavamck@yahoo.com home: 303 932-1958 cell: 303 847-6102) for more information.
