  • Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email news goes out to all team members early Thursday mornings.

  • Team Clothing – The Team Store is closed and total purchases by 25 members totaled close to $4000. We made the minimums on all items except the Womens Ascent short and the Womens LongSleeve jersey...however, don't worry, the Team has purchased enough of those items to make the minimums, so all of the items offered in the Team Store will be produced. The one exception is the Yellow ShortSleeve jersey. That item will not be produced so anyone who ordered it will receive a full refund. The extra items purchased by the Team will be in our clothing inventory, so ladies, if you missed out on a LongSleeve jersey or the Ascent short, we do have a limited amount of these. Contact me if you are interested in these items once we get them in...which should be about 2 months from now. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to the Team clothing or Store, please do not hesitate to contact me via email - Contact: Cory Kramer.

    BTW, please make sure to refer to this Team newsletter for details concerning the Team Store, and other issues related to the Team clothing. I have received many emails and inquiries asking about how to access the Team Store, and I couldn't help but wonder if these folks have been reading the newsletter - we published the directions when the Team Store first opened and will certainly be announcing other things about the clothing in the future....like when it arrives and how it will be distributed. Please read your newsletter! It is your best source of information regarding the Team activity.

  • Kit – If you wish to order additional items not offered through the Team Store, such as team kits, jerseys, socks, bib or non-bib shorts, please fill out the additional order form (Page 4 of the TER 2008 Application) and mail it along with a check to Team Evergreen Racing (C/O Team Evergreen Racing, P.O. Box 3804, Evergreen, CO 80437) Make checks payable to: Team Evergreen Bicycle Club. If you have any questions regarding clothing, please contact Cory Kramer.

  • Saturday Training ride - The Saturday training ride is tentative at this point. It depends on how much snow we get and if it melts off in time. I'll check the bike paths on Friday afternoon and post a final decision on the TER website Friday evening. If Saturday gets cancelled, check the TER website late Saturday as there may be a Sunday ride instead. START TIME 10:00 AM. Gather at C-470 and Rooney Rd. Please arrive early enough to be ready to ride at 10:00 sharp.

  • New Mid Week Training Ride - Wednesday training rides - We had a good turnout of about 8 TER members this week and the weather was perfect. Training concentrated on about an hour of intervals on relatively flat roads. This is great training for any event. If you're able to sneak out of work early, come share the pain with us. We meet at 3:30pm at Rooney and Morrison and loop back and forth in Bear Creek park so you can show up late and still meet up with the group.
