begin the tour as a team

dignitaries in tow.

We're looking for volunteers to "man" the tent at the Triple

Mid-week training
(Wednesdays, 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm) - Our mid-week training will
remain on Wednesdays, although we know that is not ideal for
everyone. Hopefully many of you can join us at least every now
and then.
-
Two options in July:
1.
Endurance training,
3:30- 6:30: Starting Wednesday July 2 (and leading up to the Mt Evans
race): Start riding at 3:30 pm from the usual spot at Morrison
and Rooney Rds. Ride Bear Creek Canyon to Kerr Gulch Rd to
Evergreen Parkway and over and down to the base of Lookout. Join
the others there for a ride back up Lookout, and then head back
to Morrison.
2.
Standard training,
5:30 pm, Meet at the base of Lookout ready to ride by 5:30pm. Ride
a TT- pace or intervals up to the top, and repeat this two
times. Leaders are Brian France and/or Robin Waterman.

Weekend
training:
Saturdays:
Many ride leaders are racing during the summer, so most Saturday
rides will be "show and go" until August. This means that
everyone should feel free to show up at Morrison and Rooney Rds,
ready to ride by 9 am. Whoever is there can choose the route.
Sundays:
There is always a ride organized by the Team Evergreen Club. All
TER racers should consider joining in on these rides, as their
training and racing schedule permits. Route and start times are
listed on the TE website.
-
Boulder
training ride
- "Sunday Morning Fruit Loops" - coming in early August. Leaving
from Downtown Boulder at the corner of 18th and Pearl Street in
front of Full Cycle Bikes, we will head North on HWY 36 to
Lyons, do a little scenic loop in Lyons, then head East for
another loop of some farmland, and head back into boulder on N
75th Street. Total Distance is about 50 miles. Information?

How is everyone
enjoying the pre-season? Pre-season you say? That is right,
pre-season to the most fun you will have on a bike. Cyclocross
season. There are 64 days to the first race (Sept 13th). It is
time to get your head in the game. We will be putting on a
skills clinic to teach and refresh folks on the finer details of
getting off and on your bike quickly. Look for that event in
August. A cross bike is not a requirement, a mountain bike will
do, however now is the time to be looking on
CraigsList. Contact
Brian France for info or with
suggestions to make this a great season.
