Team News      (email contact co-Presidents Kevin Skruch and Patrick Bull)

  • Welcome to the TER weekly news.  This email went out to all race team members.  TER Photo Gallery

Membership Info      (email contact membership director René Pirolt)

  • Bike Deal at GMS - Green Mountain Sports has 4 top of the line Giant Bikes from their race team they are selling at a pretty good deal. The medium bikes are equal to about a 54 cm frame. Corky is giving us a week exclusive on this to see if TER members are interested first.

Cyclocross       ( email contact cyclocross director Brian France

  • Races: The goal is to do well as a team at the best cyclocross rider/ team (BCR/BCT) events. These races are listed on the ACA website. The BCR/BCT races in September are:

9/21 Green Mountain Sports Cross #1 Denver (sponsor race!)

Another great CX venue is the 9/27 Boulder CX Series at Interlocken, east of the Flatirons Mall

  • Clinic: I have received a couple of requests for another clinic because people missed that last one. If I get 5 people to RSVP with interest for another clinic!

  • Training: Skills: Being smooth through the obstacles and maintaining your momentum is beneficial. Don't forget to practice these skills. Find a flat open park, and practice. Start slow then speed up as your prefect your technique. Time spent here helps your races be more enjoyable and faster.

Contact: Contact  Brian France with any questions, suggestions and to RSVP for the clinic.

Road Training       ( email contact road racing directors Robin Waterman or Chris Porter)

  • Training:

Saturday: rides will be "show and go". This means that everyone should feel free to show up at Morrison and Rooney Rds, ready to ride by 9 am. Whoever is there can choose the route.

Sundays: There is a ride organized by the Team Evergreen Club. All TER racers should consider joining in on these rides, as their training and racing schedule permits. Route and start times are listed on the TE website.

Mondays : Across from the Conoco in Morrison, for the next 2 weeks. Please write if you would be interested and if meeting at 4:00 pm works OK. We would probably ride for approx. 90 min, including the warm -up and cool down. (And if it works better to meet later, and ride for just an hour, that could work for me, so when you reply, please suggest an alternative if it works better.)

  • Boulder training ride - "Sunday Morning Fruit Loops" - Leaving from Downtown Boulder at the corner of 18th and Pearl Street in front of Full Cycle Bikes, we will head North on HWY 36 to Lyons, do a little scenic loop in Lyons, then head East for another loop of some farmland, and head back into boulder on N 75th Street. Total Distance is about 50 miles. Information?  Contact Jimmy Walter
